A very warm welcome to Vision Foundation’s Spring Newsletter, Insight. I am particularly excited about this issue, as there’s been so much going on at Vision Foundation that we are delighted to share with you, most notably our upcoming merger with sight loss medical research charity, Fight for Sight.

The merger is a fantastic opportunity for both charities to grow our influence and impact without reducing or diluting what we already do. Vision Foundation and Fight for Sight will officially merge on 1 April, and I am delighted to hand over the CEO reins to current Fight for Sight CEO, Keith Valentine.

I am extremely proud of what Vision Foundation has achieved in recent years. I cannot think of a better next chapter than joining forces with Fight for Sight. Through this merger, we will have the expertise, talent and scale to go on to incredible things, all under the visionary leadership of Keith.

I will continue to follow the work of this wonderful, new charity and look forward to reading about its achievements.
