Vision Foundation works in partnership with charitable organisations across London. We fund and support projects that involve, empower and include blind and partially sighted people from inception through to delivery. We fund ideas ranging from the hundreds to tens of thousands of pounds; and back quick projects as well as multi-year initiatives. We deliver our funding through our Vision Fund which awards grants twice a year.
We have three funding priorities that describe the work we support and how we want to bring about change for London’s blind and partially sighted population. All the grants we make meet at least one of our priorities and applications are assessed on the quality of the work rather than the number of priority areas they are working towards.
In March 2022 we introduced the Resilience Fund in direct response to the challenges brought on by the protracted pandemic. As part of our commitment to support the sustainability of the sight loss sector, we will continue offering grants of unrestricted funding of up to £5,000 to sight loss organisations based and working in London.
