Dinner in the dark

The virtual world is busier than ever and at a time of social distancing, there is no better way to connect with friends, family and loved ones.

We’ve all heard of the virtual dinner party, but why not add a twist to raise awareness of sight loss and host a dinner in the dark? Ask your loved ones to cook their favourite meal, grab a blindfold and join a group phone call for an evening of great food and conversation in total darkness. Why not get creative and play some verbal games after dinner? This powerful experience will change your perceptions of sight loss, so don’t miss out!

Make the most of your unique dining experience and create a fundraising page to support London’s blind and partially sighted people. Ask guests to make a small donation of £5 after their meal to help change lives and save sight.

The 2.6 Challenge

Why not host your dinner in the dark as part of the national #TwoPointSixChallenge on Sunday 26th April 2020? Invite 26 guests to join you virtually to wine, dine and save the UK’s charities.
