Research Study: Sight Loss and Employment

glasses placed on a bookThe Vision Foundation is funding a research project by the Vision Impairment Centre for Teaching and Research (VICTAR) at the University of Birmingham to understand more about the factors that affect work and employment for blind and partially sighted people in London.

The researchers at VICTAR would like to talk to people living with sight loss who are unemployed, those who are working, or looking for a career move – they want to hear about a range of different experiences.

Professionals who have experience of supporting individuals with visual impairment into employment are also welcome.

If you, or anyone you know, would be willing and able to share your experiences in an online focus group with others with a visual impairment/other professionals, please go to https://bham.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_1B0fcSCxipAnwW1 where you can find out more information and register to take part.

All participants will receive a £20 shopping voucher as a token appreciation for their time.
